The Valencian Community has 129 beaches with blue flag in 2017, a figure that makes it the community with more blue flags of Spain.
The beaches of Valencia are to be congratulated. The Association of Environmental and Consumer Education has announced the blue flag beaches in 2017 and the Valencian Community is the leader in Spain with 129 beaches, four more than in 2016, and 15 marinas.
The urban beaches of Valencia – the Malva-rosa and the Cabanyal – consolidate this year the blue flag recovered last year, after eight and nine years respectively, without having received that badge.
