The Monastery of El Puig de Santa María

This monastery is located in a town called El Puig de Santa Maria, around 15km from Valencia and easily reachable by car, bus or train.

The name of the monastery owes its origin due to an image of Maria discovered at the summit of the hill and it is divided in two parts: the monastery and the sanctuary.

People are able to visit the monastery from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 12pm and from 4pm until 5pm and on Sundays at 12pm and the access to the building costs 4€ for those interested.

 

Sagunto

Sagunto is a beautiful place to visit if you are around the Valencian Community and you like enjoying of cities which are completely surrounded with art and history.

Sagunto is also a good place for those who like the beach and want to know more about the history of the city with archaeological sites, such as for example Grau Vell with its defensive complex built in 1781.

Sierra Calderona Natural Park is located between Castellon and Valencia and it is one of the most emblematic parks in the Valencian Community. The biodiversity that can be found there is one of the most important aspects of the park and the reason for its importance and one of the reason for visiting the Natural Park without regretting.

Manises

Manises is a city located within the metropolitan area of Valencia and easily reachable by airplane, subway, car or bus.

The city is filled with tradition and modernity and the it is the favorite place for those who like ceramic. For this reason, Manises is widely well known for its pottery and tiles which are made there since XIV, so it is a long time tradition which is still present in the city.
